Hepatitis ACT is a not-for-profit community organisation dedicated to reducing the impact of viral hepatitis in the capital region. Our comprehensive services include:
- Harm Reduction: Through our Needle Syringe Program (NSP), we provide essential harm reduction services to prevent the transmission of viral hepatitis and other blood-borne infections.
- Education: We offer non-clinical education on hepatitis B and hepatitis C, raising awareness and promoting understanding within the community.
- Testing Services: Hepatitis ACT provides Hepatitis C testing, including finger stick testing for antibodies and RNA testing, ensuring early detection and intervention.
- Support and Treatment: Our programs encompass a holistic approach to support and treatment for individuals living with Hepatitis C. We focus on Reach, Teach, Treat, and Thrive principles to empower individuals throughout their journey towards better health. Additionally, we offer referrals and support for those living with Hepatitis B, providing tailored assistance and resources.
